Honduras
Peso, 1886, semi-P/L uncirculated with hairlines

Honduran (silver) Pesos are very difficult to find really nice. Actually the gold Pesos are a good bit easier in mint state.

For some reason, cleaning coins is a favorite activity in Central America

Honduras
Peso, 1888, well struck AU (NGC-58)

This one appears completely original and cost me $95 against a Krause price of $80 for an exf specimen.

Honduras
Peso, 1892/0, NGC-63
Stack's, NYICS Auction 2020, lot# 20474

Finally after many misadventures {and cheats by coin dealers} I was able to get a decent uncirculated Honduran Peso.

This is a "gold shield" whatever that means.
